Celebrating Edward Thomas

Date: 22/09/2011
Location: Purcell Room, Southbank Centre, London

Edward Thomas is one of Britain's most influential WWI poets; this event brings to life his poetry, his extraordinary friendship with Robert Frost, and the zeitgeist of the period he wrote from. Andrew Motion and Michael Longley read from a selection of his work. Matthew Hollis, author of Now All Roads Lead to France, a book about the last years of Thomas' life, hosts the evening.
