Benjamin Britten's War Requiem

On Wednesday 31 March at 8pm in the Barbican Hall (London), Mark Forkgen will conduct London Concert Choir with Finchley Children’s Music Group and Southbank Sinfonia in a performance of Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem.  The soloists are Janice Watson (soprano), Adrian Thompson (tenor) and Roderick Williams (baritone).

Benjamin Britten’s “War Requiem”, which features Wilfred Owen's poetry, was originally written to consecrate the new Coventry Cathedral in 1962.
